Kullön is named after the farm Norrkulla, which operated here for 400 years. The western parts of the island were designated a nature reserve in 2005. It measures about 27 hectares and includes many different ecosystems and a wealth of species, two of which are red-listed. You can ramble through the reserve, barbecue at the designated locations or go for a swim. Just remember to always close gates after you so the sheep don’t get out.
