The steamboat Storskär leads the procession. She was built in 1908 and has been operating in the Stockholm archipelago, mainly in the northern part, from mid-May to September since 1940.
Next up is Norrskär, the only ship to have participated in every Skärgårdsbåtens Dag since 1964. The steamship was built in 1910 and now operates between Stockholm and Sandhamn across Kanholmsfjärden.
The third ship in the procession is the steamship Mariefred, which was built in 1903 for the Stockholm-Enhörna-Mariefred trade route.
The steamship Blidösund was built in 1911 and operates in Stockholm's northern archipelago. The shipping company Blidösundsbolaget owns 17 vessels and operates Waxholmsbolaget's 21 archipelago boats.
M/S Västan is the only ship in the fleet that runs on motor power. She was built in 1900 and is a true stalwart of the archipelago traffic – she has been a Waxholm boat for over 85 years, longer than any other ship.
