for exhibitors
Exhibitor information, Archipelago Boat Day, June 11, 5:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
We are really looking forward to welcoming you on Wednesday! Here is some important information that we ask you to read in full before we meet.
Find your location
The market stalls are located from the hotel corner and further along in two rows along Hamngatan and Söderhamnskajen, where there is also a marina this year. There will also be market stalls at the square on Söderhamnsplan.
You have received an email with information about your seat number. You can see the location of each seat below. Your seat will be marked with a number when you arrive. If you are unsure of your seat number, please contact us atmarknad@destinationvaxholm.com
Please note that the invoice we sent you for your seat must be paid and registered with us by June 9 at the latest. Registration is binding. Failure to pay does not constitute cancellation of your seat. However, your seat may be given to another participant if you do not pay the invoice on time.
Establishment and decommissioning
You are welcome to set up your stand from 3 p.m. If you have also rented a market stall through us, it will be set up at your location when you arrive.
You are responsible for packing up and cleaning your market stall. Packing up and cleaning must be completed by 10 p.m. If you have rented market tables from us, we will fold them up for you.
Important information on opening hours
The market is open from 5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. As an exhibitor, you agree to have your space ready by 4:45 p.m. at the latest, to have products available, and to have your stand staffed until the market closes at 9:30 p.m. For us, it is a matter of quality to keep to the opening hours we have communicated.
Over the years, there have been exhibitors who have brought too few products and therefore sold out during the market day. We therefore ask you to bring enough items so that this does not happen.
If you bring too few products and are forced to close, or for other reasons choose to pack up before 9:30 p.m., we will charge a fee of SEK 500 + VAT.
El
Electricity is available for those who have ordered it. Bring your own extension cords so that you can connect. The market area is relatively large, so you may need to run the cord a few meters, so be sure to bring cords of different lengths.
Parking
During the market, Hamngatan from the roundabout at Söderhamnsplan to the hotel corner is closed for market stalls. As an exhibitor, you can park at Söderhamnen, see the red markings on the sketch below.
If these parking spaces are occupied, there is long-term parking available at Lägret and Vaxholm Church. More parking suggestions can be found on Vaxholm City's parking map, which you can find here. Please note that the map has not been updated with the market closures mentioned above.

We have a shared responsibility to ensure that emergency vehicles and others who need to can get through on all streets.
Restrooms
Restrooms are located next to the waiting room on the right side of the pavilion on the quay.
Waste and garbage
You are responsible for your own waste and any rubbish. There are rubbish bins available. If your waste does not fit in the bins, you must take it with you and dispose of it elsewhere.
Fire extinguishers and defibrillators
The nearest defibrillator is located at the rear of the pavilion on the quay (behind Winbergs, towards Hamngatan). Fire extinguishers are available at Winbergs and at Waxholms hotell. The project manager carries a first aid kit.
Hosts in yellow vests
We will have a number of hosts wearing yellow vests from Destination Vaxholm. The hosts' task is to guide visitors and answer their questions. If you have any questions as an exhibitor, the easiest way is to contact Jenny (project manager). You can reach her on 070-652 00 42.
