Food experiences

The island Badholmen, in the strait outside Vaxholm, can be booked for private parties. There are two possible restaurants here - Magasinet, for up to 130 guests, and Kalaset, in the former shipowner's villa, where up to 44 people can be offered dinner. Bookings can be made via Vaxholms Kastell.

At Fredriksborg Hotell, on the other side of Oxdjupet, you eat good food in a pleasant environment, either in the hotel dining room, in the Orangery or on the outdoor terrace. The restaurant places great emphasis on good ingredients and small-scale craftsmanship. Vegetarian options are always on the menu.
