Lecture by Urban Fredriksson - From Taverns to Inns with Stagecoach Stops to the Hotel Business

Join us on a journey back to the late 18th century, when the inn began in all its simplicity. During the 19th century, the business grew from an inn with a stagecoach station into what came to be known as Falken’s Garden and Salons. After five changes of ownership and a fire in 1900, nothing remained of the original buildings, and the foundation of today’s hotel rose from the ashes—a history of ownership and transformations that we trace right up to the present day.
