Guided hike through the beautiful nature of Bogesund

Join us for a guided hike through Bogesund’s beautiful natural surroundings! We’ll start at Bogesund Castle and walk just over 5 kilometers along gravel roads and forest trails.

Guide Mikaela Lodén will talk about the history of Bogesund and some of the people who lived there long ago. Among other things, you’ll hear about Bogesund during the Viking Age, the Högbacka croft, Bogesund Castle, and the ancient ruins at Askrike.

Time: 1:00 p.m.–approx. 3:30 p.m.

Start and finish: outside Bogesund Castle, Per Brahes väg, Vaxholm

Hike: about 5.5 kilometers, mostly on forest trails, but also on gravel roads.
