Fredriksborg has large areas, almost 5 hectares of land with two 18th-century hotel buildings and a large fortress that can be used as a unique party venue. Around the hotel there is nature, garden, the event tent, orangery, outdoor terrace and jetties, unique premises for conferences, events and activities. 45 minutes from Stockholm city by car or RIB boat, and close to SL bus or shuttle boat.

Sun all day and the view is fantastic from the plateau or down by the jetties at Oxdjupet where the cruise ships glide by close outside.

The hotel accommodates 20+30 diners, the Orangery approx. 40, and the event tent closer to approx. 140 guests. Party and dance until 03 is possible in the Orangery or in the mighty 18th century fortress.

Fredriksborg Hotell has 15 double rooms /30 beds, of which 10 rooms have separable beds.

Fredriksborg has very high guest ratings, is known for good food as well as flexibility and personality.

Fredriksborg Fortress was completed in 1735 and protected Stockholm at Oxdjupet. It was the strongest fortress of its time. Its officers' residences from the same period are today hotels in two 18th-century buildings. Public transportation

The final stop for bus 439 is at Stenslätten, near the ferry terminal. To reach the hotel, walk approximately 800 meters along Fredriksborgsvägen. Alternatively, the hotel offers a pickup service for both guests and luggage. If you are coming from Vaxholm, take bus 688 to Fredriksborg, where you can catch a free 3-minute ferry across the strait to Stenslätten.

Directions

From Stockholm East, take Road 222 towards Värmdö; it later becomes Road 274. Follow this route until you see the sign for "Fredriksborgs Fästning," approximately 500 meters before Stenslätten. Turn right and continue along the small road for about 800 meters until you reach the hotel parking lot.

If you're coming from Stockholm North, head south on E20 towards Norrtälje. Take the exit towards Vaxholm and then board the ferry to Rindö. Afterward, take another ferry to Värmdö/Stenslätten, and drive approximately 800 meters to the hotel.
